QNAP Security to showcase powerful HD network storage at Intersec
QNAP Security will demonstrate its latest Linux-based NVR solutions at Intersec 2012, the largest exhibition for security and safety in the Middle East. At the show visitors will be able to see the complete range of QNAP solutions, from basic NVRs for small businesses to enterprise-grade storage platforms. "The Middle East is a promising market for surveillance," said Alvin Wu, QNAP Security Account Manager. "Intersec Dubai gives us a great opportunity to demonstrate how QNAP Viostor NVRs can help protect visitors." To capture HD video with robust and reliable storage from QNAP Security, the 48-channel VS-8148 Pro+ provides real-time audio-video monitoring, simultaneous playback of multiple network cameras and megapixel recording at up to 10-megapixel resolution. Store up to 24 Tb of footage, or 3 Tb per hard drive, with hot-swappable RAID for data redundancy. The VS-8148 Pro+ supports H.264, MxPEG, MPEG-4, and M-JPEG recording from up to 48 network cameras. Setup can be completed in six easy steps through Internet Explorer, without installing additional software. Even without a PC, security managers can set up video equipment quickly through any HDMI or VGA display. The VS-2012 Pro NVR is a two-bay network surveillance system suited for SMB and residential applications. Powered by a dual-core Intel Atom processor and 1 GB memory, the Viostor NVR can record from multiple network cameras or video servers at up to 10-megapixel resolution. The Linux-based solution supports quick setup without a PC to monitor cameras across the network. Video playback is supported with a VGA connector for displays, along with multiple ports for USB keyboards and mice. |
