Nedaps MOOV wins Detektor International Award

Nedap is recognized with the Detektor International Award in the Access Control category for its MOOV system. During the official ceremony at the Sectech show, MOOV received the Innovative Achievement Award. MOOV is the worlds first access control system specifically designed for vehicle entrances in cities, corporate estates and other parking facilities. The award recognizes innovative products that contribute to the advancement of the security industry.

Intelligent engineering

"Specifically designed to cleverly optimize traffic flow whilst still maintaining a high degree of versatility and unhindered access for emergency services Nedap has intelligently engineered the worlds first dedicated vehicle access control platform," motivated the jury.

Mobility in smart cities

Earlier this year, Nedap launched MOOV. It is the worlds first access control system specifically designed to optimize mobility in smart cities, corporate estates and other parking facilities. With this new solution, Nedap responds to the worldwide trend towards smarter cities and the increasing focus on mobility challenges in those cities. MOOV offers dedicated modules for access control to cities, business parks with multiple tenants and pre-booked parking spaces.

"Nedap is very pleased with the acknowledgement and confidence in the first dedicated vehicle access control system: MOOV," says Michiel Rijssemus, Business Development Manager at Nedap Mobility Solutions. "The award recognizes our commitment to offer innovative solutions for the mobility challenges that cities and corporate facilities face nowadays."

Outstanding innovations and contributions

The Detektor International Award rewards and encourages research and development within the security technology field. This prize is a confirmation and a recognition of products that stand up to the criteria of outstanding innovations and contributions to the advancement of the security industry. The jury, consisting of members of the editorial board of Detektor, gave their vote after the nomination ceremony.

During the Sectech show on the 16th and 17th of November, MOOV will be demonstrated by Vitani at booth 32.
